The first-generation Audi Q5, which was produced from 2008 to 2017, has a 20 cm ground clearance, a 25-degree embankment angle, a 17.6-degree ramp angle, and a 31-degree grade ability. Equipped with Quattro all-wheel drive, the 4.63 m long and nearly 1.90 m comprehensive Q5 is prepared for use off the paved surface. The Q5s' potent 132 kW to 200 kW gasoline and 105 kW to 190 kW diesel engines make it clear that they are designed for regular use on the highway. The SUV is equipped with advanced features out of the box, including front- or all-wheel drive for diesel vehicles and four-wheel drive for petrol models. Depending on the engine, there is a 6-speed manual gearbox, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, an 8-speed automatic transmission, an electronic differential lock, and traction control with off-road sensing. Downhill assistance, Servotronic steering, dynamic suspension, and brake energy recovery system. 

When the Q5 hits the market, Audi has expanded its lineup of mid-size SUVs with features that are more likely to be classified as premium electronic onboard aids. The Q5 can have a variety of packages that transform its appearance from sporty to rural. The following choices are available for the Q5's initial phase: A 6.5-inch screen for the driver information system, adaptive cruise control, cruise control, Drive Select, Lane Keeping and Lane Change Assistant, and Drive program selection are all included. 3-zone automated climate control, reversing camera, and parking assistance. Sports or comfort seats feature Xenon light with LED daytime running lights and an Off-road optics package, including plastic components on wheel arches, side skirts, and silver-coloured underride protection at the front and rear. Sports seats, a 3-spoke sports steering wheel, and front perforated underride protection are all included in the S-line sports package. The Q5 Hybrid and SQ5 sports versions include a four-cylinder TFSI petrol engine and an electric motor. From 2011 to 2015, Audi will introduce its mid-range SUV with an alternate drive using this hybrid technology. It suits the Q5 profile since it performs sportily on the conventional track, with a system output of 180 kW and a sprint time of approximately seven seconds. The Q5 Hybrid is the least expensive variant, coming in at 159 g of CO2 on average per km and 6.9 l per 100 km, just behind the 2.0 TDI. In 2012, Audi added another distinctive element to the lineup with the SQ5, and the Ingolstadt-based business introduced a sports model with a turbo diesel engine for the first time. The 2015 model year will also see the introduction of two additional, more potent TDIs with up to 250 kW and an SQ5 petrol engine with 260 kW as the top model. 

Although the second-generation Audi Q5's design was somewhat sharpened, the car's fundamental specifications and proportions remained largely the same when it was introduced in 2017. The first phase of the new construction is a 252 hp gasoline engine and three litres of diesel with a 140 kW output power. It primarily conveys information on technical apparatus: Standard or sport suspension options are available, as well as optional air suspension and adaptive dampers. For the Q5 with four-cylinder engines, switchable Quattro-ultra all-wheel drive is available, as is an optional 8.3-inch digital cockpit and infotainment system with networking capabilities. The Q5 II includes the included hardware. When the second generation of the Audi Q5 goes into production, the entry-level model will come standard with front-wheel drive and a manual six-speed transmission. Diesel and gasoline engines with greater output have an 8-speed automatic transmission and constant all-wheel drive. Audi equips the base Q5 II model right out of the factory with 17-inch alloy wheels, door sills with an aluminium inlay, and off-road plastic parts on the wheel arches, bumpers, and doors. The front window has acoustic glazing, automatic climate control, an onboard computer with a 5-inch display, a 3-spoke steering wheel with multifunction controls, and cruise control. Audi configures the Q5 II with Xenon and LED rear lights, light and rain sensors, and other equipment lines. 

With the design and design selection packages, Audi gives the Q5 II owners a choice to upgrade their vehicles. Available equipment lines include the following: Sport has 18-inch cast-aluminium wheels with a 5-spoke design, body-coloured bumpers and wheel arch linings, front and rear silver underride protection, a leather steering wheel, and sports seats. Specific bumpers, side air intakes, a roof edge spoiler, a diffuser insert with an S-line appearance, and aluminium door sills are all features of the S line. 

S line sports kit includes:

- Matt aluminium footrest and inlays.

- An Alcantara sports seat.

- A leather-chrome sports steering wheel.

- Body-colour bumpers.

- A radiator grille.

- Stainless steel pedals. 

The S line exterior kit consists of a grey grille, a matte aluminium rear diffuser, and lighted aluminium door sills with the S emblem. S line Black features 20-inch alloy wheels with black rims, carbon inlays, a two-tone grey paint job, sports seats with dark grey diamond leather coverings, and other features. Exclusive: individualization with chosen colours, unique rims, and coloured leather seats. The Q5 is an alternative to sedans and station wagons in the middle class, which counteracts SUV features such as the higher sitting position. Audi provides the Q5 for these target groups with its entry-level engines. Audi provides sporty drivers who desire a long-distance car with enormous performance reserves with sporty V-engines or as SQ5, and the SQ5 with 354 horsepower has a lot to offer. The Q5 Hybrid, which was not included in the program when the second SUV generation debuted but is still available as a used car until 2015, combines performance, efficiency, and emission-free driving. Because Audi will transition to gasoline and diesel engines that differ from Euro 6 starting in 2012, it's important to note which emissions standards the machines in the range of conventionally powered Q5 secondhand cars meet.
